Jessica Shen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland. She earned her Masters in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2014. Jessica completed her Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Neurobiology and Physiology from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2010.
Jessica has worked with families in a variety of settings including in-home therapy, school-based therapy, as well as outpatient clinics. She advocated for clients in 504 and IEP meetings, and has helped create recommendations for behavior plans. Her experience with children, teens, young adults, and parents from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds has grounded her practice with clients to include a strong focus on biological, developmental, and cultural factors.
Jessica enjoys walking, sometimes running, folding laundry, learning new things, reading, and has a persistent affection for French fries and ice cream.
