Dr. Ashley Boswell is a Licensed Psychologist with over 10 years of experience in the field of psychological assessment, neuropsychological assessment, and educational assessment. She is committed to her client’s success and understanding their unique set of strengths and weaknesses. Her assessment process is solution-focused and she strives to provide her clients with useful and effective treatment recommendations.
Dr. Boswell received her neuropsychological training in outpatient medical settings. She has also significant experience bridging the gap between neuropsychology and advising school professional teams on how to implement neuropsychological test results. Dr. Boswell’s background working in schools offers a unique perspective on how to navigate school systems thoughtfully and efficiently in order to maximize her clients’ success and achieve both short and long-term goals. She collaborates and consults with client’s outside treatment providers and school personnel to thoroughly understand her clients’ support needs so they can reach their full potential.

Background
Dr. Boswell is a Montgomery County native who completed her undergraduate studies in psychology at George Washington University. Her graduate training at Rutgers University focused on conducting child and adolescent psychological and neuropsychological assessments across inpatient and outpatient hospital settings in Manhattan and Westchester County. In addition to her clinical training, Dr. Boswell also completed a school psychology internship at Bedford Road Elementary School in Westchester County, New York. Dr. Boswell returned to Maryland in 2013 and has been serving children, teens and their families in the dc metro area. She is currently a member of the Maryland Psychological Association and National Association of School Psychologists.
In her free time, Dr. Boswell enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and playing tennis.
