Dr. Wills is a Licensed Psychologist who specializes in providing comprehensive evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults with developmental, learning, behavioral, and social-emotional challenges. She has a particular expertise in working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, including specialized training in the early diagnosis of infants and toddlers (12 months and up).
All evaluations are individualized to meet the needs of each client. Dr. Wills takes a strengths-based approach to assessment and aims to capitalize on each individual’s unique skill set, in addition to understanding and supporting areas of vulnerability.

EXPERTISE:
BACKGROUND: Dr. Wills completed her internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Yale Child Study Center in New Haven, CT, where she received intensive generalist training as well as a specialization in autism. Upon completion of her postdoctoral fellowship, Dr. Wills served as a clinical psychologist at the Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders (CASD) at Children’s National Hospital. At CASD, Dr. Wills completed individual and multidisciplinary evaluations with children, adolescents, and young adults presenting with developmental concerns, social skills weaknesses, executive functioning deficits, learning disabilities, and/or communication impairments. She also led CASD’s individual treatment team, providing psychotherapy to children and adolescents presenting with weaknesses in social communication, executive functioning, behavioral challenges, and/or mood-related disorders. Dr. Wills also previously held a faculty appointment in the departments of Pediatrics and Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at the George Washington University Medical School.
